The evaluation principles of economic developable hydropower potential is that it must have competitive compared with other power sources, and the comprehensive analysis methods of the combination of macroscope and microscope, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and precision and fuzzyhave been taken. According to the quantitative calculation of national economic evaluation, the economic developable hydropower potential in Sichuan Province is 100. 4547 million kW and 540' 258 billion kW' h, accountingfor 31. 2% and 42' 6% of the country's total respectively.
