| Abstract: | In light of the problems of frequent occurrence of steel breakout and sticking as well as lingitudinal surface cracking of the peritectic steel in the process of casting Q345 in the newly commissioned slab continuous caster, causes to those troubles are analyzed and appropriate counter-measures adopted and thereafter the problems of steel break-out and sticking solved promptly and the quality of the slab improved accordingly as well. |
