| Abstract: | After analysing the effect of Savonius rotor, which was combined with Darrieus rotor in series, on the aerodynamic performance of Darrieus rotor, this paper has derived the matching condition of two rotors and the mathematical model of aerodynamic performance of the combined rotor. The tunnel tests have shown that the mathematical model, once slightly be modified, may meet the need for designing the combined rotors. |
