Abstract:Hydrogen sulfide has a wide range of biological effects,and plays an important regulatory role in cardiovascular system,nervous system,diabetes and other diseases,especially for Alzheimer's dis?ease.Alzheimer’s disease is a common neurodegenerative disease in the central nervous system.The ide?al clinical treatment drug has not yet been developed,and the imbalance of endogenous hydrogen sulfide homeostasis is related to the pathological process of Alzheimer’s disease.This review summarizes the pro?tective effects of hydrogen sulfide on Alzheimer's disease,including its antioxidant,anti-apoptotic and anti-inflammatory effects,as well as its relationship with up regulating the expression of silent informa?tion regulator 1 and enhancing the expression of longevity gene korosol.It provides a research basis for hy?drogen sulfide to become a new method for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
