软件工程是一门年轻的学科,虽然软件开发模型和结构化方法等技术在70年代广为流行,但这些技术还需要进一步研究的问题,并且有些实际问题有待解决;另一方面,软件工程又是一门迅速发展更新的学科,新观点、新技术和新方法近年来层出不穷。当前,软件过程研究及企业软件开发过程改善已经成为与技术研究同等重要的课题。一个基本的共识是:软件过程的改善和软件模式的应用两方面的无缝结合将是软件工程发展的主流,同时也是解决软件危机的主要途径。

Software engineering is a young science.Although software life cycle mode and structured method work up and are widely popular in 70 age,there are still much academic problem and practical problem to be solved.On the other hand , Software engineering is a science.Which rapidly develops and updates.Recently there are many new opinions ,techniques and approachs.Currently,the study of the process of software and the improvement of the process of enterprise software have been important problem as well as the study of techniques.This paper discusses some basic concepts , For example, what is software, how many activities are there in software development process,how to value quantity of software product,and so on, to grasp the evolvement of software devolpment techniques.
