| Abstract: | The synthesis of ethyl 3,3,3-trifluoro-2-oxopropionate has been accomplished at atmospheric pressure.The reported reaction conditions demonstrate several advantages-ease of control of the reaction temperature,increased yield of product and decreased formation of undesirable by-products. |
