| Abstract: | Cellular metallic sandwich plates have the capability of dissipating considerable energy by large plastic deformation,so they have been developed for application in impact-resistant construction.In this paper,the classifications and structural performance of sandwich plates are summarized and its applications in the civil engineering are also introduced briefly.The research results are of worth to structural application of cellular metallic sandwich plates. |
