大学教授"集群化"发展的成因分析

摘    要:自大学产生以来,在长达几个世纪的大学生活中,教学活动始终是大学教授职业生涯中的唯一内容。18、19世纪,伴随着科学研究进入大学,大学的职能得到了拓展,大学教授的职业内涵也随之发生了深刻的变化,这是教授“集群化”发展的前提;随着近代科学的蓬勃发展和高度分化,以个人研究为基础的知识生产方式已远远不能满足科学发展的内在需要,“大科学”时代的到来使教授的工作方式逐步走向“集群化”;大学组织结构的松散性为教授“集群化”发展提供了有利的条件。

Abstract:Since the emergence of universities, teaching had been the only mission in the professor's career for centuries. Until the 18th and 19th century, with the introduction of scientific research into universities, the functions of universities were then widely expanded, and thus the connotation of university professors has undergone deep changes. This can be considered as the precondition of the clustering trends in the development of professor groups. As a result of the booming development and high differentiation of modern science, the mode of knowledge production based on individual research can no longer meet the inherent need of scientific development. With the advent of Great Science Era, the work mode of professors gradually becomes clustering; furthermore, the loose structure of universities also provides favorable conditions.
