| Abstract: | this paper presents the features and basic working principle of detachable passenger ropeway, and emphasizes the importance of monitor and control devices for the passenger ropeway, including monitoring of rope position and grip condition, safety operation control and swing absorber, other safety measures, etc. And specific safety measures taken in Huangshan mountain ropeway as an example are introduced. |
