Using the Genetic Algorithm to Facilitate Case-adaptation of Injection Mould Cost Estimation CBR System

Injection mould cost estimation is a problem that needs the corporation of multi-aspects, CBR (Case-based reasoning) is used in the process of injection mould cost evaluation. According to the weak theorization property, a genetic algorithm based case-adaptation strategy is proposed. The key technologies are discussed. By constructing the three-tier case adaptation mode, and using the appropriate adaptive functions, the case-adaptation difficulty existed in the injection mould cost-estimation system are solved.
