| Abstract: | This article takes the peat soils in the east of Jilin Province as examples and analyses and summarizes their special engineering geological characters on basic of test.The study indicates that the peat soils in the east of Jilin Province have high natural void ratio, high natural water centent, high compressibility and low shear strength so on. Based on what above, foundation treatment measures are suggested. |
