Taking Taiyuan city as an example, the paper analyzes urban special streets construction problems, such as integral planning and spe- cialty orientation failure, imperfect facilities and service and post management and so on. Combining with the Food street and Liuxiang and other transformation examples, it explores new ways of sustain and develop special street culture, with a view to achieve good economic and cultural benefits.
