| Abstract: | The microscopic structures of diamond thick film and PCD composite film are analyzed. A cutting experiment is carried out by using diamond thick film and PCD end milling cutters which are designed optimally, it is proves that the ultraprecision machining with mirror surface can be realized by means of milling instead of grinding using the diamond thick film end milling cutter. |
