| Abstract: | The paper discusses the development of cable television broadcasting network architecture in 3 parts.After briefly reviewing the coaxial cable television broadcasting network used in early days,the paper emphasizes on the application of optical fiber in recent TV broadcasting network so as to form the Hybrid Fiber/Coaxial Cable network HFC.Finally,the paper estimates some possible development trends in improving such HFC network for use of both TV broadcasting and bi directional broadband digital communication. |
