| Abstract: | SensorDynamics is a well known manufacturer of automotive grade MEMS gyroscopes and inertial combo sensors mainly for Rollover and ESC.With a new family of gyroscopes and inertial combo sensors in QFN package SensorDynamics now enters the non-automotive market.The leading edge product of this sensor family is a fully integrated 6DoF-IMU in a tiny 6×6×1.2mm QFN40 package.SensorDynamics is targeting several applications in the consumer area like navigational systems,platform stabilization and motion capturing for handheld devices,but also medical applications like movement analysis.This paper describes technology and properties of the new product family and gives an outlook for future developments. |
