Abstract: | The transformation-range viscosity and the glass transformation temperatures were measured for three series of Li2O-R2O3-SiO2 glasses containing varying alumina-to-gallia ratios. The results indicate that these properties vary linearly with the alumina/gallia ratio. These results suggest that these glasses are isostructural and that no "mixed intermediate oxide" effect occurs. |
