| Abstract: | Crank|Nicolson finite difference method is used to discrete the basic equation of one dimensional non|linear consolidation and the computer program is developed. Based on the computation results, some useful consolidation diagrams are prepared and the relevant one dimensional non|linear consolidation behavior of soft clay is discussed. |
