| Abstract: | Environmentally conscious manufacturing (ECM) is an advanced manufacturing technology across the world. Design for assembly and design for disassembly (DFA/DFD) of industrial products are one of the important means in this area. This paper discusses the theoretical basis and implementing approaches of DFA/DFD. It also presented the design procedure of electric hair dryer based on the theory of DFA/DFD. |
