THE ASSAY OF BITTERNESS IN BEERS FLAVOURED WITH ISOHUMULONE CONCENTRATES

Abstract:The Rigby-Bethune rapid methods for determining bitterness in beer are compared with Moltke-Meilgaard measurements. A new assay is presented which is suitable for the determination of bitterness in beers flavoured with isohumulone concentrates.
