Solution of stiff convection-diffusion differential equations using marquardt's method |

| Abstract: | A modified Marquardt method is successfully used to solve a stiff non-linear convection-diffusion problem with chemical reaction. An efficient solution strategy is proposed and comparisons are made with classical iterative solution methods based on loading. The performance of the algorithm is illustrated with an implicit finite difference method. |
