Abstract:An improved particle filter algorithm for WSNs target tracking is proposed.PF's direction value is optimized according to current prediction value to predict moving direction of the target accurately.Prediction error precision of particle filter that is possibly produced by sudden changes in direction is modified.Simulation results show that the new particle filter algorithm can achieve better tracking performance than other filter algorithms.
