元认知与中国大学生英语自主学习能力的培养

摘    要:论述了元认知的概念、要素、作用及元认知能力的内涵;探讨了英语自主学习的内涵及其与元认知能力的关系;阐述了元认知知识、元认知体验和元认知技能三要素对学生英语自主学习能力形成的影响及其在培养学生英语自主学习能力过程中所起的重要作用;最后着重提出了训练学生元认知能力的的重要性、可行性及具体方案。

Abstract:This paper describes metacognition's concepts, essential elements, functions as well as metacognitive capability, and approaches independent English study's connotations and the relationship between independent English study and metacognitive capability. At the same time it expounds the influence that metacognition's such three essential elements as metacognitive knowledge, experience and skill produce upon the forming of students' ability of independent English study and the important roles that they play in the developing of their ability of this kind. And at last, it puts forward in particular the importance, feasibility and concrete plans for the training of students' metacognitive capability. Thus the paper holds some reference significance for the reform of our English teaching.
