Abstract:Ultrasonic water meter is vulnerable to external disturbance and has the poor repeatability at low flowrate measurement in the large and medium pipeline.In order to solve the above problems,the research on the double-channel ultrasonic water flow meter based on time difference method is studied.Firstly,this paper designs reducing pipes.Secondly,the flow field of the reducing pipes at low flowrate is studied by CFD numerical simulation.Finally,The experiments on the prototype of the double-channel ultrasonic water flowmeter are studied.The results show that the pipe model can improve the measurement repeatability and reliability in small flow experiments.The performance of the prototype meets the requirements.
