Mechanism of Cooperative Scheduling on Sequence Planning and WorkStation Task of Mixed Flexible Assembly Line

The production sequence and workstation planning in accordance with order requirement and production requirement monthly was desired in a mixed flexible automobile assembly line. In this paper the real status of automobile assembly production was analyzed and the objective of effective and accurate operation for scheduling was proposed. The idea of cooperative scheduling of production Sequence and Work-Station Planning was pointed out. In the paper different methods of production Sequence and WorkStation Planning for different stages in a mixed model assembly line were discussed and the framework of the cooperative scheduling was constructed. Several cases were cited to demonstrate the mechanism of the cooperative scheduling. It is proved that the cooperative scheduling proposed is effective for controlling assembly production process with high efficiency and accuracy.
