| Abstract: | The latest researches concerning microstructure and phases of AZ91D magnesium alloy as well as the effects of heat treatment and alloying elements on them were comprehensively analyzed. The techniques of improving mechanical properties and its effects were also reviewed. Metallic coating as a newest surface treatment technology and the semi-solid casting technology in terms of processing methods were briefly introduced, too. |
