| Abstract: | This paper introduces briefly the structural design of the Asia Hotel, a new 27 storeyed building now under construction in Shanghai. Emphasis is laid on the analysis of structural system composed of shear wall and shear wall supported on frame structural system used in the main building as well as the design and construction of the revolving restaurant at the top of the building. |
