| Abstract: | The definition and work flow of reverse engineering are introduced.The process of acquisition of the 3D points data of the auto body metal sheet parts is stated.The processing of the point cloud data with the CAD software CATIA is discussed and the process of creating the curved surface and moulding on the triangle region is also stated. |
