Abstract: | This paper focuses on the combination of the flow control techniques with Petri net methodologies. The flow control techniques are improved in order to handle multiple routing. A general and unified Petri net formalism is introduced. The integration of the flow control techniques with an interpreter based on this new Petri net formalism is discussed. Results for simulation of a very flexible manufacturing system are provided. |
