STUDY OF COMPATIBILITY OF PBT/PA6 BLEND |

Abstract: | By the means of theoretic analysis. DSC, IR. WAXS and SEM, the phase stru-cture and compatibility of PBT/PA6 blend were studied. The result of theoreticanalysis shows that as W_(PB)T is more than 0.3 and less than 0.92 and △H_m more than4.18×10~2J, PBT/PA6 blend appears thermodynamic incompatible. The result of DSCshows that PBT/PA6 blends with proportions of 95 to 5 and 10 to 90 have only oneglass transition temperature. It means the amorphous phases in the system dynamic.compatible. While the PBT/PA6 blend with other composition proportions havetwo glass transition temperatures. it means the amorphous phases in thesystem dynamic incompatible. The result of IR shows that there is a little stronger hydrogen bond between -C?- of PBT and -NH- of PA6 so that C=O absorptionpeak moves from 1727 cm to 1720 cm. The result of WAXA shows no blended crys-tal formed. PBT and PA6 in the blended yarn is in fibril of adjacent layers pa-rallel to each other. |
