Chinese character design is an important part of graphic design.Figuration of Chinese character is one form of Chinese character design.In China,traditional figuration of Chinese character has a history almost as long as Chinese character.There are various material and methods of traditional figuration of Chinese character,as well as application.Traditional figuration of Chinese character provides the basis for modern Chinese character design.This essay lays stress on the analysis and summary of the traditional figuration of Chinese character,which is in hope of bringing new inspiration for today’s designers.
