试析中西方绘画形式异同之思想根源

Analysis on Thought Origins of the Difference between Chinese and Western Painting Forms

Chinese painting form is quite different from the western’s and the reason lies in its unique thought origin.On the one hand,Chinese arts illustrate the Confucian aesthetic ideal "Beauty of Harmony" and on the other hand incarnate the Taoist character of thorough pure art spirits.Under the influence of Confucianism and Taoism,Chinese artists try their best to combine themselves with the "Heaven" and "Tao".Meanwhile the western artists have fulfilled their ideal under the aureola of Hellenism and Christianism.
