The development of a period monitor for nuclear reactors

A period monitoring unit plays an important role in the process of starting up a nuclear reactor.This paper gives an account of its principle for the nuclear reactor and the design of a new circuit diagram.Through its operation in a shielding experiment reactor located in the institute of Nuclear Energy Technology of the Tsinghua University for two years,it has been proved that the period monitoring unit is proper in its circuit design and stable in performance.
