| 摘 要： | 蔡元培与胡适关于红学研究著名的"索隐派"与"考证派"的论争,提出并揭示了现代文学批评发生期中国小说批评滥觞的主要倾向与特征.就研究对象和目的而言,蔡元培注重小说批评的政治功用与实践品格;胡适确立了现代作家研究的批评方向.研究方法上则西学盛行,科学主义占据上风.

| Abstract: | The argument between Cai Yuanpei and Hu Shi on "Suoying Group" and "Textual Criticiam Group" in the study of Dream of Read Mansions puts forward and reveals the main tendency and characteristics of Chinese novel criticism origination during the beginning period of modern literature criticism.In terms of study subject and objective, Cai Yuanpei attached importance to the political functions and practical qualities, while Hu Shi established the criticism direction in modern author research.In terms of study method, Western learning prevails and scientism wins the advantage. |
