| Abstract: | In this paper 12 concrete beams with variables of anchorage lengthsof longitudinal tension reinforcement and load locations are tested. The behaviourof shear failure and shear capacity of the beams are investigated. The failure models, the bond strength and the formulas to calculate the minimum anchoragelength required by shear and moment capacity of the beam are proposed.The method to estimate the shear capacity with inadequate reinforcement anchorage is also suggested. |
