GIS based communication resource managing system of Guangzhou power electric

With the development and extension of power communication system, it is becoming necessary for maintenance dept. to use communication resource management system managing the modern communication network. The key point of this system is to build a powerful physical and logical resource database. By using the database, we can carry out the network maintenance process control, the resource dispatch, the consummating and improving the production dispatch flow, and improving the laboring efficiency. This paper presents the communication resource managing system of Guangzhou Power Supply Company based on GIS, describes its important function modules, and summarizes some attentive questions in practice. It is a very useful work to carry the communication resource management system into execution in power system.
