| Abstract: | More and more large multiple-story shopping malls come up in our country with the blooming of economics.The fire safety design,especially for the evacuation design,of these buildings is well concerned.The conflicts of building codes and actual needs of the large multiple-story shopping malls are pointed out.A case study was taken by performance-based fire design method,in order to show the feasibility of the application of performance-based fire safety design method in solving the evacuation design of large multiple-story shopping malls. |
