| Abstract: | Abstracts of metallurgy science papers can be classified as the typical informative texts, whose expected translation objective is to publicize research achievements among English readership. Appropriate translation strategies should be adopted in its English rendition to make the target text enjoy natural expression, logical arrangement and precise diction on the basis of a thorough understanding of the pragmatic, logic and syntactic distinctions between Chinese and English science texts. |
