Abstract:The transmission of downhole video signals in the oil logging industry is affected by the characteristics of cables,transmission distance and external environment,which leads to the slow transmission rate and poor transmission quality of image data.The influence of transmission distance on digital signal transmission speed is reduced by enhancing signal strength,optimizing signal transmission mode and coding mode.The technology of source coding and differential transmission can effectively reduce the influence of cable characteristics and environmental factors on the quality of digital signal transmission,improve the signal-to-noise ratio of the signal,and thus realize the long-distance and high-speed transmission of digital signal.The actual test shows that the PSNR value of the image recovered by the decoding module is 32.0574 and the SSIM value is 0.8988 under the transmission bit rate of 600 KB/s,which meets the design requirements of this system and has high practical value.
