| Abstract: | This paper summarized the researches and tests on the matching of turbochargers and model 4100AZ diesel engine. Based on the characteristics of the spherical-shape combustion chamber and the limitation of the maximum combustion pressure, a series of design works, experiments, optimizations and studies are carried out on the overall arrangment of turbocharging system, the selection and adjustment of turbochargers, the valve train system and fuel injection system. The test results showed that the engine power is increased by 23%, and the performance is improved significantly. |
