| Abstract: | The preliminary design phase is the key phase for effective control of the construction costs and key point for confirming and control of the total investment.A squatter settlement renovation project is taken as an example to illustrate how to effectively manage the cost at the preliminary design stage and put forward some focal points regarding management work and problems worthy of notice at the preliminary design phase based on practical engineering experiences. |
