新型网络环境中的事件相关性研究

随着网络规模的扩大,作为网络管理五大功能之一的故障管理在网络运行中起着越来越重要的作用.作为故障管理核心部分的故障定位通过可观测的外部征兆分离出被管系统中的故障.目前故障定位的工作主要还是诊断协议栈中较低层的故障,新的网络环境需要故障诊断能够在协议栈的多层中综合完成.文中对故障定位现在所用的相关性分析的方法,及目前这些技术所面临的问题进行了探讨.

A Study of Event Correlation in New Network Environments

With the expansion of networks the fault management, which is one of the five network management functions, plays an increasingly important role in network operations. As the core of the fault management, the fault localization can isolate the faults in the managed system by observed symptoms. Currently fault localization serves mainly to diagnose faults at the lower layer of the protocol stack. Fault diagnoses should be performed in an integrated way in new network environments. This paper discusses the currently used methods of correlation analysis for fault localization as well as problems facing the technologies.
