| Abstract: | The seroprevalence of herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2) infections among reproductive-aged women in the United States in prevalent. This article discusses HSV and how it effects the pregnant women and neonates. Management of the disease is reviewed, and recommendations for management of HSV during pregnancy are given. |
