燃料甲酯应用研究初探

本文介绍了燃料甲酯用于发动机台架试验的情况。燃料甲酯是利用植物油脚料提炼而成，其主要理论性质与０号柴油相近。初步试验结果表明：燃料甲酯用作柴油机代用燃料时，由于其热值稍低而使比油耗相应略高之外，在其它性能方面均与烧柴油时大体上相当，且可与柴油以任意比例掺合。另外从代用燃料角度而言，甲酯与甲醇与良好的互溶性，可掺合作燃料而不需采用特殊措施，此是优于柴油掺甲醇之处。燃料甲酯用于汽油机时可作为甲醇汽油的

Preliminary Research on Application of Methyl Esters to Internal Combustion Engines

n this paper, the authors present the research results of the engine experiments on test rig in application of methyl esters to internal combustion engines. These methyl esters are obtained from the waste material of vegetable oil refining, and its principal physicochemical properties correspond to the No.0 diesel fuel.The initial experiment results indicate that using the methyl esters as diesel fuels the main performances of the engine remain similar except the b. s. f. c is higher owing to the lower Calorific value. The methyl ester can be mixed by diesel fuel with any proportion and it's combustion performance is good. In addition, the methyl ester can also be mixed by methyl alcohol without any additional equipment. The methyl ester can be used on petrol engine as a mix-supporting material of methylated gasoline and it's price is cheaper. The mixing amount of methyl ester should be determined by making a compromise between reducing the separate temperature of mixed fuel and avoiding the knocking of engines.
