| Abstract: | In this paper,current status of Human Factors Engineering in nuclear power plants are described.In order to increase the reliabitity and safety level in nuclear power plants,improvements to the mechanical systems alone are not sufficient.Human factors must be systematically analyzed.The paper also includes introduction of evaluating methodology of human reliability analysis and some proposals of improvements in safety of nuclear power plants using human factor engineering principles. |
