Abstract: | There has been studied the effect of 30-day hypokinesia (HK) and gamma-radiation at three non-lethal doses (3.5, 5.0, and 8.5 Gy) on elaboration of the motor-defence reflex of active avoidance (RAA). Radiation-induced slowing-down of the RAA formation was in direct proportion to the dose applied. Modifying action of gamma-radiation on the hypokinesia effect showed up markedly only at the highest dose (8.5 Gy). Modifying action of HK with respect to the radiation effect can be assessed as insignificant; however, a downward trend was established in the rate of the reflex formation under the combined exposure to these factors. |
