Abstract: | A Control and Measurement System (CMS) is designed to ensure the reliable operation in the long pulsed high magnetic field facility supplied by lead-acid batteries. The CMS is mainly composed of a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), a fault monitor and protection circuit, a signal processing and data acquisition unit, a local triggering sequence generator and the main control program. The system architecture and kernel parts of the CMS are analyzed and described in detail. The results prove that the designed CMS could perform efficiently and reliably. |
