Abstract: | Some technical improvements for magnetization measurements using a vertical-type single-turn coil (V-STC) method have been attempted. We have chosen LaCoO3, RbCoBr3 and SrCu2(BO3)2 that show interesting field induced magnetic transitions, as test materials. Intriguing features were clearly observed in magnetic fields of up to 100 T. The quality of the data is of comparable to those obtained by a conventional non-destructive pulse magnet. |
