摘    要:The α-sialon ceramic is known for absorbing the sintering aids into the lattice to avoid or reduce the intergranular phases.However,this is less effective with light rare-earth elements(RE)than with heavier REt[1,2].In order to understand how such difference is created,we studied and quantified the distribution of dopants in the microstructures of Nd-and Yb-α-sialon samples with selected dopant compositions by analytical electron microscopy(AEM).
