Research and Application of Open Source Intelligence based on Social Networking

Social networking has become an indispensable part of daily life.As a new form of intelligence collection,social networking intelligence has become one of the important sources of open source intelligence.Exploring this concept will help us understand and grasp the important value of social media as a source of national intelligence source in the Internet environment.First,this paper explores the ways to obtain open source intelligence in social networking.Then,it analyzes the intelligence value of social networking and exemplifies the application of social networking in open source intelligence.Finally,it explains the challenges faced by online social intelligence.The result indicates that although online social networking is an extremely attractive source of intelligence,it is also a huge information security trap.Various online social platforms will also become another main battlefield for future intelligence wars.
