| Abstract: | The paper is about the coke quality requirements caused by blast furnace volume enlargement and PCI with rich oxygen, and the disparity between the required quality and that of available coke is also analyzed. It's emphasized that the special properties of the cold and hot strength of coke should be considered dialectically. Many methods for improving the quality of coke in every stage of coke production are discussed. |
